Advent is a crazy time with shopping, cleaning, cooking, baking, hosting and attending gatherings, and so many things that fill up our time. With so much to do, it is easy to forget the true reason for Advent...preparing our hearts for Jesus.

Let’s consecrate ourselves to Jesus through Our Blessed Mother, Mary. We’re offering a Do-It-Yourself retreat called “33 Days to Morning Glory” by Michael Gaitley, MIC. We will meet for discussion in St. Patrick Hall on Tuesday nights at 6:30 pm beginning Tuesday, Nov 29, and ending with our consecration on Sun., January 1, 2017, the Solemnity of Mary, the Holy Mother of God. Plan to join Fr. Michael for 8:00 am Mass on Friday, Nov. 4, followed by a potluck breakfast and presentation. Our speakers are Rita Endres, Crib Club Coordinator and Margie Blau, manager of the private chapel at the Women's Care Center of Madison. The Woman's Care Center and The Port will be our charities for this year's Giving Tree. Please bring a dish to share.
