God gave us the gift of human sexuality to express the profound communion of love between husband and wife-one that reflects Christ's love, which is free, total, faithful and fruitful.

Last Saturday, November 5th, was a notable evening at our parish.

Advent is a crazy time with shopping, cleaning, cooking, baking, hosting and attending gatherings, and so many things that fill up our time. With so much to do, it is easy to forget the true reason for Advent...preparing our hearts for Jesus.

Let’s consecrate ourselves to Jesus through Our Blessed Mother, Mary. We’re offering a Do-It-Yourself retreat called “33 Days to Morning Glory” by Michael Gaitley, MIC. We will meet for discussion in St. Patrick Hall on Tuesday nights at 6:30 pm beginning Tuesday, Nov 29, and ending with our consecration on Sun., January 1, 2017, the Solemnity of Mary, the Holy Mother of God. On the night of the Feast of All Souls, the faith formation students prayed for all the Souls who have died and are awaiting their eternal destination in Heaven.

Plan to join Fr. Michael for 8:00 am Mass on Friday, Nov. 4, followed by a potluck breakfast and presentation. Our speakers are Rita Endres, Crib Club Coordinator and Margie Blau, manager of the private chapel at the Women's Care Center of Madison. The Woman's Care Center and The Port will be our charities for this year's Giving Tree. Please bring a dish to share.

On Thursday, October 27th, our faith formation students and some parishioners took a pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Crosse. The trip was a tremendous success!....

When Father Michael isn't watching sports, his two favorite TV shows are The Journey Home and the Catholics Come Home episodes on EWTN...

The annual family banquet was enjoyed by all. Kids enjoyed the movie and bingo. Dinner was great. Friends and fellowship was best of all. Photos posted...

This year we've had about 15 kids participant in children's choir!   We are busy getting ready for our debut at Mass on Saturday, November 5th.  We will also sing on Christmas Eve at the 4:00 Mass.  If any other children would like to join us, it's NEVER too late!  Just email Tammy Nordman at music@st-patrick-parish.com.
